Events overview

What are events?

Events in Crewdox are used for scheduling and organizing training activities for instructors, examiners, and crew members for specific training events. When these individuals are scheduled for an event, the necessary forms or attendance lists are automatically prepared and prefilled, ready to be accessed and used by the instructor or examiner on their iPad.

Examples of such events include:

  • Simulator recurrent training.
  • In-house CRM (Crew Resource Management) training.
  • Any other training event relevant to your operation.

Using the events module in Crewdox offers additional benefits like notifications about student fulfillments. This feature alerts you if a student who was scheduled for training does not complete it.

While the most efficient use of the events module comes from integrating it with crew planning software, it can also function effectively as a standalone module within Crewdox for those who do not use such software. This flexibility allows for effective management of training events, regardless of the specific tools or software an organization uses.
