Printed forms

Printed forms

In addition to the standard Crewdox form layout that does not require this step, some customers prefer to use their own form layouts as a final pdf. Below is an instruction on how to build custom printed forms.

Upload form background

Upload your image or images (not pdf) here

Populate the background image with fields

Drag and drop the fields from the left list onto your background image. Remember to save the form when you are done.

Printed variants

It is possible to add various printed layouts for a form. This is commonly used for LPC forms that uses one Crewdox form but where different authorities have different layouts that should be submitted to the authority.

To build a printed variant of a form, in the form list, click on the three dots and select "Handle Printed Form Variants".

On the next page, you can add your different variants of the form and build them out the same way as described above.

Download a printed variant

When a form with various printed variants have been submitted, you can generate and download them from the Task by clicking the link "Click to view all documents".

In the window that opens, you will see all printed variants for the form that you can generate and download. First, mark the variant you need followed by "Click to generate"
