Crew overview

Crew overview

A crew in Crewdox can have multiple roles as well as various access to suit the needs for your company. In the following article, you can find out more about working with crew in Crewdox.

Administrator vs Crew

There are two user types in Crewdox. One is called Crew and the other one is called Administrator. The only difference between these two user types are that an Administrator can not have any roles attached to it, which in turns means that no records can be tracked for an administrator user type.

Access groups

Each user in Crewdox needs an access group assigned in order to access any information in the system. Typical access groups in use are: Admin, Instructor & Crew. However, additional access groups can be created to suit various operations. This means that a Crew can have access as Admin if he or she needs to perform administrative work in Crewdox.

Access can be controlled in detail and due to the complexity involved when creating access groups, our support team will assist with setting them up for you based on your needs. Just reach out to us at support@crewdox.com and let us know what you need for your users.
