Administrator vs Crew
There are two user types in Crewdox. One is called Crew and the other one is called Administrator. The only difference between these two user types are that an Administrator can not have any roles attached to it, which in turns means that no records can be tracked for an administrator user type.
Access groups
Each user in Crewdox needs an access group assigned in order to access any information in the system. Typical access groups in use are: Admin, Instructor & Crew. However, additional access groups can be created to suit various operations. This means that a Crew can have access as Admin if he or she needs to perform administrative work in Crewdox.
